Pepper

Peppers story is another hard story to tell. I’ve had her for approximately 2 years. She and another chicken, who has since passed, came from a Michigan abuse case where the owner decided he no longer wanted to feed his animals, closed the barn doors and opened fire. The animals that survived were brought back to the rescues, treated for their injuries and adopted out from there. Some stories are hard to tell but they need to be told.
